Swansea Beach Walks
Swansea and Gower has some of the UK’s best beaches and between the 1st October until the 30th April every year, dogs are allowed on every single one. [yippee]

Outside of this time (between 1st May to 30th September) dogs are NOT allowed on the following beaches:
- Swansea Bay - from the river Tawe to the slip opposite Victoria Park at the site of the former St Helens Baths (former iron bridge) and from the beach access opposite Sketty Lane to the Northern edge of the slip opposite the West Cross Inn
- Bracelet Bay
- Limeslade Bay
- Rotherslade Bay
- Langland Bay
- Caswell Bay
- Port Eynon beach - from the eastern edge of the steps to Port Eynon beach to the eastern edge of Horton beach access.
Dogs are allowed on the following beaches all year round:
- Swansea Bay – from the slip opposite Victoria Park at the side of the former St Helens Baths to the beach access opposite Sketty Lane
- Horton - from the Lifeguard station east towards Oxwich
- Mumbles
- Pwlldu
- Pobbles
- Three Cliffs
- Tor Bay
- Crawley
Be aware that dogs must be kept on leads at:
- The entire promenade at Swansea Bay (from the River Tawe to the Knab Rock car park, Mumbles)
- The promenades at Langland Bay and Rotherslade
- The promenade at Caswell Bay
Fines are applicable for offenders so please be warned… and don’t forget your bags.
